Scholarships

Centralia BPW Education Foundation and Centralia BPW has been offering scholarships for over 25 years to students in our area communities. We host annual scholarship fundraisers in which all proceeds directly benefit the fund.

The scholarship Deadline for the 2024-2025 school year is March 31, 2024. Applications must be postmarked or received by this date to qualify. Applications for all three scholarships open in Fall 2023.

We offer three categories of scholarships to which any male or female student may apply to:

High School Scholarship Application and Requirements

Foundation High School Scholarship.Fillable

• Applicants must be a student at Centralia High School, Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School, or the child/grandchild of an active Centralia BPW member in good standing.
• The applicant must be a member of the 2024 graduating class.
• The applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA through the Fall 2023 semester.
• The applicant must submit a transcript for all course work through the Fall 2023 semester WITH APPLICATION.
• The recipient must provide a final transcript indicating graduation and evidence of enrollment for at least 12 semester hours of credit for the Fall 2024 semester before scholarship funds are dispersed to the recipient’s college or university.

Undergraduate Scholarship Application and Requirements

• Applicant must be currently enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of college course work or the equivalent.
• The applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA through the Fall 2023 semester.
• The applicant must submit a transcript for all course work through the Fall 2023 semester WITH APPLICATION.
• The recipient must provide a final transcript indicating graduation and evidence of enrollment for at least 12 semester hours of credit for the Fall 2024 semester before scholarship funds are dispersed to the recipient’s college or university.

Age 25 and Over Scholarship Application and Requirements

Foundation BPW Age 25 or Older Scholarship

• The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• The applicant must have had at least a 3.0 GPA during the last semester completed of high school, OR if college credit has been earned, the applicant must have a 3.0 GPA through coursework completed in the Fall 2023 semester.
• The applicant must submit a high school transcript if no course work has been completed OR a transcript of all college course work through the Fall 2023 semester WITH APPLICATION.
• The applicant must be 25 years of age or over on or before March 31, 2024.
• The recipient must provide a transcript of all college coursework through the Spring 2024 semester, and evidence of the required enrollment and/or employment before scholarship funds are dispersed to the recipient’s college or university.
• The recipient must be employed at least part-time and enrolled in six (6) or more semester hours of college course work OR enrolled in at least 12 semester hours of college course work during the Fall 2024 semester.
